Route 9 Rollover Crash Injures One, Closes Roadway

All lanes of Route 9 are open following a crash that closed the roadway for several hours in Fishkill and injured one person.

The rollover crash took place around 7 a.m., Tuesday, April 2, in the southbound lane of Route 9 in Fishkill, said the Town of Fishkill Police.

The crash brought down a utility pole when the vehicle overturned, police said.

Although the roadway has reopened, drivers should expect delays as Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp. employees work to repair downed wires and pole, police said.

The extent of the driver's injuries were not immediately known.
